Library Rules

Library Behavior and Policies

1) Library users should leave their bags in the baggage counter before entering the library.

2) Students and Teachers should log in first before using books and computers

3) Silence must be observed at all times. Talking must be done in subdued tone. All library users are expected to respect the rights of others to study in a quiet and conducive atmosphere.

4) Sleeping or lying on the table/chair or floor is strictly prohibited.
Social networks are not allowed to be access by the students

5) Eating and Drinking are strictly prohibited.

6) Library users should always keep things in order. Every user is expected to return the chairs to their proper places before leaving the library.

7) Everybody is enjoined to always keep the library clean and orderly.

8) Cell Phones must be switched to silent mode while inside the library premises.

9) Responsible conduct must be observed at all times. Students who engage in disruptive and inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave the library.

10) Users are obliged to follow special regulations regarding the use of certain library facilities.

11) Any student caught destroying any book or library materials shall be recommended for disciplinary action

12) Show mutual respect for everyone in the library.


Acceptable Use Policy

1. SAUYO HIGH SCHOOL recognizes the academic need for some, if not all of its teachers to have access to the Internet while on the job, using school computers. As such, Sauyo High School has made the academic decision to make the Internet avail-able to teachers for Sauyo High School academic purposes.

2. SAUYO HIGH SCHOOL intends for the Internet to be accessed for academic purposes and expects that teachers will spend no more than 5 minutes per day accessing the Internet for non-academic purposes.

3. SAUYO HIGH SCHOOL specifically prohibits its teachers from accessing the following types of sites using school computers:
a. Gambling sites
b. Auction sites
c. Hate sites
d. Pornographic sites
e. Any site engaging in or encouraging illegal activity

4. The school reserves the right to use monitoring software to make sure the school’s IAUP is being adhered to by its teachers. The school may record and/or monitor one or more teachers computer and Internet activity for any reason and without any specific notice.

5. By signing and dating this document:
a. You agree that you have had the opportunity to review this agreement and ask any questions regarding this document.
b. You agree to adhere to the company’s IAUP.
c. You agree that you will be subject to disciplinary measures, including possible termination, if you violate the IAUP.
